About the Department / Extracurricular Activities

 The department provides a wide array of extracurricular activities.  In 1999 the department established an internship program allowing students to acquire a sense of what the organizational culture in media firms is like as well as gain workplace experience. Beginning in 1998 to present day, the department has organised “Communication Week” activities showcasing students’ radio, television, print, public relations and advertising work. The department has also held an annual graduation exhibition for the past seven years, from 2006, showcasing radio, television, print, public relations productions from the graduating class. From 2003 t0 2009 the department held “Communication Camp” which was designed to help recruit high school students’ into the department as well as increase spread awareness of the department and department’s courses. Added to this, the school also has a wide range of student clubs and societies which provide a multitude of fun lively activities. Student clubs include: The Rock club, the Guitar Club, Fevers Ballroom Dance Club, Table Tennis Club, Film Club, Martial Arts Club, Puppetry Research Society and Discover Taiwan Club just to mention a few.
