About the Department / Teaching Equipment

 The department has an array of equipment for the teaching of specialized professional courses: the studio, cutting room, audiovisual materials library, linear editing studio, broadcasting studio, editing room, the dark room and other specialized classrooms. These professional classrooms are all equipped with the necessary equipment and are regularly updated to provide the best professional learning experience for our students. With regard to training students for television, the department also has nine single lens reflex cameras (SLR Cameras), two sets of the Apple Final Cut system, five sets of the Sony Vegas system, a television studio and in 2007 avirtual studio was completed. There are two editing rooms (non-linear editing, linear editing), and 22 cameras which are used for training our students and in 2008, the department completed setting up an online television station. For broadcasting training, there are seven broadcasting studios, 9 sets of computer recording software, and in 2008 the department set up an online radio station. In 2011 the department installed Music Maker software. And for training students in print media, there is an editing classroom equipped with 9 typesetting computers and other related equipment. In 2009, the department established an e-newsletter.
